Meet the CEO of Leanne Grace Skincare- Cassie Platt
This is what started my kitchen experiments. It was very frustrating at first, trying to find the perfect blend of oils and emulsifying them. Finally a recipe came to me and nothing has stopped me since. My friends, my family, and I were stunned at the difference this lotion made and how much better it was for us.
On August 3, 2012 my son was born and I decided to leave my stable job to care for him. This is what started the business side of the skin care. I am so excited to share these amazing ingredients with the world. My hope for everyone is that they begin to teach themselves about skin care and how costly bad ingredients can be to our skin. I want people to truly appreciate the natural goodness the world has to offer our bodies. Mostly I want people to try my products and see results they love!
Another passion of mine is helping women and children who are in need. I want to help them as much as possible. That is why I have decided to offer a generous portion of all profits to ministries that dedicate themselves to needy women and children, without charging more money for my products.
Those of you who have been with us from the beginning know that our original name was the Blissful Body. We have now officially made the switch to Leanne Grace Beauty. Leanne Grace is a reflection of my two beautiful daughters, Bliss Leanne and Aniah Grace. With my future goals in mind, changing the name seemed appropriate and including in the name the two most beautiful girls in my life was very important to me. This has always been a family business where we strongly believe in the health and beauty of women from the inside out.
I created this standard for myself and my company because it is so important to me that as this company grows, the quality is never forgotten. I started this business to make moisturizers that worked and I would love to use, so that is the standard this business will continue to have as grow. We specialize in products that do really work and help our body’s naturally.
I am a firm believer that our bodies know what’s best for us. In my opinion, our skin care and nutrition should never ever go against what the body already naturally knows; it should only assist the body. As a massage therapist, this was something I lived by: massage doesn’t “heal” the body, but is an assistance to the body’s natural way of healing itself. The same goes for my skin care line. The ingredients I use are going to naturally assist the skin to regrow, repair, and re-balance itself as well as impart vital and essential nutrients that the skin so desperately needs.
